Pony Express Ride
January 27, 2022
First, on January 27th, we will visit with the kids at three of the local schools. Jefferson at 8:30 a.m.
Bonnie Brennan at 9:30 a.m.
If you would like to come and meet the riders, there will be a meet and greet at the Winslow Chamber of Commerce at 12:00. Where also at this time, you can watch the pony express riders get sworn in by the Post Master of the Winslow Post Office!
All of this followed by a “mock ride”
( hand off demonstration) at 1:30 p.m.
Taking place at the Winslow Post Office and 2nd street in front of the La Posada.

In the interest of accomlishing one of our goals to keep the heritage of the Old West alive, the Clear Creek Cowboys Association is proud to announce 
our inaugural Clear Creek Cowboys “Territorial Road” Pony Express Ride!
our inaugural Clear Creek Cowboys “Territorial Road” Pony Express Ride!This first years route will take place first leaving the Winslow, AZ Post Office, left on hwy 99, leading the way on Territorial Rd all the way to Holbrook, AZ Post Office.
There will be a special “mailer” or “postcard” available for purchase to be sent via “Pony Express” 
.
.You will be able to purchase these at the Winslow Post Office or Dewitt Ranch Supply and also at the Winslow Chamber of Commerce.
Mailers and postcards will be $1 ea.
A drop box will be available at the Winslow Post Office or the Winslow Chamber of Commerce.You will need to make sure to place your own postage stamp. The last day you should drop your mailer or postcard will be Friday, January 28th!
