Homolovi State Park Annual Suvoyuki Day

First Saturday in August every year. (August 5, 2017) This annual event celebrates the long-standing cooperative efforts of the Hopi People and Arizona State Parks in the celebration of and preservation of the Hopi way of life. Hopi crafts persons demonstrate tradition Hopi arts, crafts, farming, and food preparation during this annual event. Guided and self-guided tours of the ancestral Hopi sites of Homolovi I & II, National Register of Historic Places Pueblo Sites will be provided as well as guest speakers on the Hopi Culture. Enjoy fresh sweet pit roasted corn from the on-site corn-pit. The event begins at 8:00 am (AZ-MST) schedule of daily activities will be announced in late July.
